Hey Classy People,
Last week, I was casually going through my inbox (just deleting a mountain of unread emails) when something told me to check my junk folder. And guess what? There, buried in the digital abyss, were not one but TWO official class action settlement notifications. Both went straight to the spam dungeon, almost as if my inbox didn’t want me to get paid! Let’s fix that👇.
In Today’s Newsletter:
✌️ Not once, TWICE: Help yourself out
🗃️ The Case Docket: What else to file for
🥡 Thursday Takeout: For you on-the-go
WHAT’S GOING ON??
✌️ Not once but TWICE
I know, I know – it sounds like the start of a bad joke: “Two settlement emails walk into a junk folder...”
But this is no laughing matter.
These weren’t just any emails – they were the official notifications telling me about settlements I was eligible for. And guess what? I almost missed them entirely.
Here are some screenshots below for those of you who don’t believe me (this would be a weird one to make up with out proof though…).
Why This is a Problem
It’s no secret: inboxes are unreliable. Spam filters are out here acting like bouncers at a club, deciding what’s important and what’s “junk” without even asking us first.
Unfortunately, those filters don’t know the difference between an important class action email and some random Nigerian prince offering you a fortune.
Plus to make matters worse, most junk folders empty out after 30 days – dumping any hope of you seeing that settlement payout.
What to Do
Keep up with this newsletter for starters! But seriously, check out or full blog post on what to do to never miss out.
TL;DR
Junk mail isn’t just for bad memes and shady promotions, sometimes it holds your important settlement notifications.
Do yourself a favor and don’t let important emails slip through the cracks – use Class Action Connection instead of relying on a junk folder and missing out completely.
