🚰 What’s coming down the pipeline?
At CAC, we’re all about transparency and that includes cases coming down the pipeline 🚰 .
Let’s check out some relevant settlements that are happening or will be in the future. We’re not filing for all of these (yet), but we’ll let you know when we are!
🧻 Costco Flushable Wipes (8/9/24): New Yorkers! File your claim to recover up to $55.90 per household from purchasing Kirkland Signature Flushable Wipes. The filing deadline is tomorrow!
🌊 Bristol Water Contamination: $2.7M (8/16/24) – If you lived or operated a business in the area impacted by the 2023 Altuglas chemical spill in PA, you might be eligible for a portion of this settlement. Claim at least $50 for contamination impacts.
🏥 Atlantic General: $2.25M (8/22/24) – You could get up to $5K for documented data breach-related expenses. Don’t have documentation? You can still opt for a pro rata cash reward, depending on the remaining settlement funds.
💳 Visa Mastercard: $5.56B (8/30/24) – This is a main focus for CAC: Get significant funds back for your business’s card transaction fees paid between 2004-2019. This is a HUGE win for the independent business owner! ⏱️ Hurry, there’s only 3 weeks left to file a claim!
🚘 Kia/Hyundai Vehicle Theft: $145M (1/11/25) – Your owned or leased Hyundai or Kia vehicle could have had design flaws that left it vulnerable to theft? If you qualify (based on VIN, model, make), you could be part of this $145 million settlement. We’ll have a settlement page on this one soon 👍️.
🏘️ Real Estate Broker Commissions: $730M (5/9/25) – If you sold a home through an MLS between 2017 and 2024, you might qualify for a piece of this massive settlement. Why? because allegedly there were inflated real estate broker commissions! We’ll have a settlement page on this one soon 👌.
This is by no means an exhaustive list. We’ll keep you posted for anything else that comes up (or becomes available) along the way!
